publix trip

Today I made a quick trip to Publix for the new sale week. Pretty proud of myself considering this was my second grocery trip for the month of February. I just couldn't pass up these excellent deals! I plan on showing you more of exactly how I budget and the first thing I do is make a list. I love lists, kinda my sickness (thanks mom). Below is my shopping list. Notice that everything is on sale and I have a coupon for each item. This is not always the case, I just happened to be lucky this week. Everything else is pretty much self explanatory, I print and take with me to the grocery and only buy what is on the list. Then, wager it into our budget and tada:

I saved $75.16 (76%) this week! So far Ross and I have only spent $45.49 (35%) this month. With this trip we still have $130.62 (65%) left in our $200/month budget! Not to shabby. Hope this helps to see exactly how things work around here.
